Celebration of love

So, what may you ask will I be penning down, well we will be celebrating my parents wedding anniversary, I can't believe they've been married for 36 years. I mean, I can't even commit to ordering take-out, so the fact that they have been through so much together, so many beautiful moments collected into a beautiful quilt that they call life. One passage that comes to mind when I think of my parents is this one.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails.

In many ways my parents have been patient, not only allowing one another to grow but being excited for each season of life. Like I said, life had never been easy but I guess life isn't supposed to be is it? Life has brought them 5 children, many houses that they have called home, making our lives safe and sound. So, simply said God made room in our lives for many new adventures, some of which is doing roadtrips to Cornwall Ontario, which is what we did to celebrate their anniversary.

LUNCH WITH FAMILY

We went to the restaurant on Pitt street, called Schnitzels is a sophisticated tavern with pub grub & European comfort foods like schnitzel & wood-fired pizzas.

Dad - stone baked pizza

Mum - salmon and wild rice

David, DD & Me - fish and chips

All the food was absolutely delicious, many can enjoy the beauty of the exposed beams which gives off London pub vibes.

Once we finished off a delightful meal we continued on our way and walked down to FairySweets which can be found on 2nd street , there you can find the sweetest treats around!

I ended up buying some delicious treats to take home for my sister, I bought her French macaroons- strawberry, Pina cola & birthday cake. Also, as a checky treat I got her a pink cupcake with iridescent pearls. All in all my roadtrip to Cornwall Ontario, has been amazing, I've always cherished the little moments that I've collected over the years.

Love,

Lizize
